WIP Wednesday Malabrigo scarf

Project details Heaven Scarf

Pattern: Favorite Scarf Ever by Lisa Bruce

Needles: Knit Pro Circular needles size 3.5 mm

Yarn: Malabrigo Sock yarn Solis

Progress: Steady but slow

It is growing, but sloooowly. No surprise, the needles I use are size is 3,5 mm.

This scarf is also going to need some serious blocking when it is done. The nice lacy pattern only shows if one stretches the scarf. This is going to be fun...I kind of hate blocking, especially bigger projects. But I guess there is no other option, the result will be worth it. For now it is just knit knit yarn over double decrease knit knit etc..........

For those of you that didn't visit Creainthecity this week, check out my last post. I organise a Easter link party, so if you made anything Easter/Spring related don't hesitate and share with the rest. There are already some really cute projects of other blogger that you can check out!

If you are planning to do some Easter crafting, you could come back. Next Sunday will be a new Easter link party.

Now back to the link party we all enjoy right now, WIP Wednesday at Tami's Amis. Hop over to spot some pwetty projects!!!!

  1. What a beautiful project! The yarn is lovely, I'm really drawn to the colours.

I hate blocking too, but then it does make all the difference, I can't stand things which slow up the progress, but then without it I guess things wouldn't be properly finished.

  3. Lovely scarf - the yarn really shines! If you have blocking wires, blocking should be a cinch!

  4. The scarf is looking amazing, and the wool looks stunning with it! I can't wait to see the beautiful detail when it has been 'seriously' blocked :P

  6. Beautiful scarf, it will definitely be worth the blocking. I've just seen your last post, what a great idea. In answer to your question about the Rowan Cashsoft, I'm not sure what I'm doing with it yet. I now have 4 colours so I will probably make some granny squares and make a blanket.xxx

  7. That scarf is beautiful, the colours are so pretty. I'm thinking about some Easter projects, I can't get much beyond Easter Eggs at the moment.

  8. Awesome color and pattern, but with needles that small and sock yarn...yikes I can see it would grow slowly. Think how soft it will be though when you're finished.
